What is my Testimony?

Dec 14, 2025 · Nicole Rahaman

Summary

Psalm 23 reminds us that the Lord is a faithful Shepherd who walks with us “through the valley,” offering His presence in times of weakness, grief, and uncertainty. Nicole emphasizes that God's steadfast love ensures nothing can separate us from His care, echoing the assurance found in Romans 8:38–39. In every season, we are called to trust in His faithfulness and bring our honest fears and doubts before Him. Nicole encourages the congregation to bring their honest fears, doubts, and burdens before God in prayer, like the psalmists who poured out their hearts yet continued to trust. She also highlights the call to persevere in faith, resonating with Hebrews 12:1–2, urging listeners to fix their eyes on Jesus in trials rather than on circumstances. Gratitude and obedience, even in small daily choices, become acts of worship that acknowledge God’s sovereignty and goodness, similar to the exhortation in 1 Thessalonians 5:16 -18 to rejoice, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances. God is working in hidden ways, and so we need to rest in His promises and lean into community for support and encouragement.

This week

  • Bring your fears, doubts, and burdens honestly to God in prayer each day, trusting Him as your Shepherd as in Psalm 23
  • When facing trials, intentionally fix your eyes on Jesus and choose perseverance, reflecting Hebrews 12:1 - 2.
  • Practice daily gratitude and obedience in small choices, in line with 1 Thessalonians 5:16 -18.
