Psalm 95:6 calls us to worship with a heart that is honest and unforced, inviting us to lift our voices to Jesus and declare His holiness. In this sacred moment, we find healing as we remember that it matters not who surrounds us, but who is listening—our God, who is always attentive to our cries. As we engage in this act of worship, we are reminded of His might to save, deliver, and set free, drawing us closer to His presence. There is something healing about worship that is honest and unforced. In this moment, the invitation is simple: lift your voice to Jesus and “let him know how holy he is.” Not polished, not performed, just real. It is a quiet kind of courage to say, even when life feels crowded or heavy, “It doesn’t matter who is around me… it matters to me who is listening.” And the comfort is this: your God is listening. As praise rises, faith rises too. We remember that He is “mighty to save,” “mighty to deliver,” “mighty to set free.” We remember He is not one option among many, He is “God and God alone,” steady and sufficient. And when we pray, “Take your place. Abide with us. Abide in us,” we are welcoming His nearness, trusting that the Holy Spirit can “take over” what we cannot manage. “The people sing holy.” “Yes, you will always be.” “Holy forever.” “Father, you are holy. You’re worthy.” “No weapon formed against them shall prosper.” All of this points us to Jesus, the One worthy of every hallelujah, the One who draws near when we call. He is not distant from our ordinary Sundays or our personal battles. He receives our worship, and He also meets us with mercy and grace. When we surrender and say, “This service belongs to you,” we are really saying, Jesus, my life belongs to You too. Reflect on your own heart today. Where do you need to stop striving and start worshiping? Where do you need to speak truth out loud: He is my breath, my life, my everything? And if you feel like you are stepping into a new season, like those prayed over in their birthday month, remember this: God chose your days “for a purpose.” Ask Him to align your desires with His, and to lead you by His Spirit. Take a few quiet minutes today to whisper your own praise. Tell Him, simply, “You alone are holy. You alone are worthy.” Then rest in this assurance: the Lord Himself is here with you, and He is listening.
